1. Definitions & Facilitation Role

This Agreement governs the lead generation and facilitation services provided by SMEgrants.ie ("We," "Us," "Our") to the Client ("You," "Your").

  • Facilitator Model: SMEgrants.ie acts strictly as a lead generation facilitator. We connect Irish SMEs with independent, SEAI-registered experts to access the €2,000 SEAI energy audit voucher.

  • Independent Auditor: All technical site visits and reporting are conducted by independent, registered SEAI engineers who maintain their own Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.

2. Service Logic and Client Journey

The following sequence ensures your business qualifies for a funded audit without any financial risk:

  • Step 1: Eligibility Check: You submit company details via our Eligibility Checker.

  • Step 2: Expert Review: We facilitate a review by our engineering network to confirm the facility size and audit scope.

  • Step 3: Verification Notice:

    • Standard Case: If the audit scope fits the €2,000 voucher limit, the audit is 100% funded with €0 cost to you provided everything runs accordingly with SEAI & voucher registration.

    • Exceptional Case: If a facility is exceptionally large or complex, the engineer may determine a cost exceeding €2,000. In this instance, You will be notified of the remaining balance before any commitment is made, and you retain the right to decline without cost.

  • Step 4: SEAI Registration: Upon verification, we provide the "Green Light" manual to assist you with the official SEAI portal registration.

  • Step 5: Organisation of site audit: the site audit will be aranged at an agreed date and time between you and our SEAI registered auditor
